Dry sweep or scrape
This method involves cleaning the roof from growth without high pressure, instead of high pressure you choose to brush or scrape moss from the roof. The method is time-consuming and the roof will not be completely clean with this method alone. When the worst moss has been scraped/brushed off, an anti-algae agent is applied to kill the remaining growth. The reason companies sell this service is simply because you can’t finish a roof. Fixer does not perform this service.
If you can surface treat a roof, this method appears irrational. In some cases, the roof does not need to be swept/scraped, but the anti-algae agent is applied directly.
Treatment with anti-algae agents
What does an anti-algae agent do? What grows on the roof is microbial growth, algae, lichen, moss, bacteria or mold, simply living organisms. When these organisms have grown and become visible to the eye, we experience that the roof looks dirty, you can also say that the roof has an infection. You can wash a wound in several ways, but then you need to disinfect the wound to prevent bacteria from forming in the wound. This is how anti-algae agents work.
Pressure washer
Here you can choose to wash with different high pressure, hot or cold water. You can wash with a lance or pull a ”sled” up and down. Regardless of which choice you make, the roof will be completely clean on the day. This method is used to ensure that the roof is completely clean, an absolute requirement if you wish to finish the roof. That is, impregnate or paint.
